The Maternal Newborn and Child Health Institute was established by Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) in June 2012.
It works closely with Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital (MRRH) and districts in southwestern Uganda. The Institute evolved from the different projects implemented under Healthy Child Uganda (HCU).
